Born December 31, 1941 in Glasgow, Scotland, better known as Alex Ferguson, Sir Alex, SAF or Fergie is a Scottish footballer and football coach. From 1986 to 2013 he was the head coach of the English club Manchester United. He is the most awarded coach in British football. He is recognized as one of the greatest coaches in the history of world football. Ranked fourth in the list of the best coaches of the post-war period according to the newspaper The Times, as well as the first place in the list of the best coaches of all time according to Football Pantheon.
