Milan Peschel (born 1968, East Berlin) is a German actor and director.
Milan Peschel completed his full education from 1984 to 1986 as a theater carpenter at the Deutsche Oper Berlin and worked until 1991 as a stage technician at the Berlin Folk Theater Volksbone. Peschel attended the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Art. From 1997 to 2008 he was a member of the ensemble of the People's Stage Theater in Berlin and took part in many productions of director Frank Castorf and Dimitri Gotscheff ^; from 2001 to 2003 he was a guest at the Thalia Theater in Hamburg. Since 2007, Peschel has acted as a director at the Maxim Gorky Theater in Berlin and at the Theater an der Parkaue. Milan Peschel was involved as a speaker in many radio shows, in particular, directed by Pavel Plumper.
Peschel was awarded the 2011 Bavarian Film Prize and the 2012 German Film Academy Prize for his starring role as a cancer patient father in the drama Stop on the Run directed by Andreas Dresen.
Peschel has two children.
