Until adulthood, she had nothing to do with art and began to play on stage only at the age of 37.
Yeon-nyo began her career in the film industry in 1993 as an actress. Due to her age, her roles were secondary or guests.
She played the mother of the protagonist Yoon Gun (Lim Soo-jung) in Park Chang-Wook's film “I'm a Cyborg, But It's OK,” starring Rain, Choi Hee-jin, Kim Byung-ok, Oh Dahl soo, Yu Ho-jung. Her other popular role is as Lady Guo in the TV drama Sun Lord. Yeon-nye has shown herself to be a very versatile actress, portraying a woman with Alzheimer's in the TV series Special Team Ten, and in the TV series Bad Boys, she perfectly coped with the role of a ruthless usurer and a real villain.
