In 1949 she graduated from the Kharkov Theater Institute. She worked at the Baltflot Theater. She played in Leningrad theaters: the Theater of Drama and Comedy at Liteiny, at the Maly Drama Theater (since 1956).
Honored Artist of the RSFSR (1967) .
She passed away on March 2, 2001.
