In 1983 she graduated from GITIS (workshop of I.M. Tumanov, B.G. Golubovsky).
She worked at the Drama Theater in Orekhovo-Zuevo.
Actress of the Odessa Russian Drama Theater and the Odessa House of Clowns.
Since 1992 she has been an actress of the humorous television sketch show "Gentleman Show".
She took part in the "Masks-Show" project, played in theatrical productions of this project: "Othello", "Orpheus and Eurydice", "Romeo and Juliet" (directed by Boris Barsky).
Irina Tokarchuk gained immense popularity thanks to the role of Aunt Sima from the Odessa communal apartment (sketch show "Gentleman Show").
