Was born on September 28, 1980 in Leningrad.
From childhood he began to study in the studio of the Leningrad Theater of Youth Creativity. Immediately after school in 1996, he entered the St. Petersburg Academy of Theater Arts in the class of an outstanding teacher, Professor Vladimir Petrov.
The famous "Liperiada" staged by the Honored Artist of Russia Lev Stukalov became the diploma performance of this course. The play became the basis of the new St. Petersburg theater "Our Theater", which was founded on October 9, 2000 on the basis of the State University of Culture and Arts
"Petersburg-concert". Lev Stukalov became the artistic director of the collective.
Daniil Kokin was one of the founders of Our Theater.
