Georgy Ivanovich Kugushev was born on March 2, 1896 in the city of St. Petersburg. Since 1917 he has been working in the studio of S. Naydenov's theater in the city of Yalta. In addition, during the same period of time, he is a member of S. Novikov's tetaral troupe. For the first time, the actor performed in an operetta in 1919 in the city of Simferopol. When he worked as the chief director of the TMK in the city of Ivanov in 1938, he was arrested. For five years Georgy Ivanovich served his exile in Kazakhstan. Already in 1939 he was an actor of the Philharmonic Society in the city of Pavlograd, and in 1940 he became an actor and director of the regional drama theater in the city of Petropavlovsk.
