Jaime Federico Said Camil de Saldania Da Gama was born in Mexico City in 1973. His father is a businessman of Egyptian origin, his mother is a Brazilian singer. Jaime's parents divorced when he was five years old. At first the boy lived with his mother, but at the age of twelve he moved to his father. After graduating from school, Jaime Kamil became a student at the Faculty of Business Management. Then the young man worked for some time in his father's firm.
However, once Kamil realized that he was much more attracted to an artistic career. He began performing as a singer on the stages of variety shows and nightclubs. Since 1993, Jaime began to work as a presenter at one of the radio stations in Mexico City. A couple of years later, he was already a producer of a television channel. In 1999, Camila's first album, "Paraestarcontigo", was presented to Spanish-speaking listeners. It almost instantly became popular not only in Mexico, but also in other Latin American countries.
Jaime's film debut took place in 1997 - he played a role in the film Dolphins. A bright, memorable appearance and acting talent allowed Camil to become one of the Mexican stars in the shortest possible time. Since 2000, he began to actively appear in various telenovelas. The actor played roles in the TV series The Most Beautiful Ugly Girl, Treacherous Maids, Virgin, Successful Senorita Perez, Family of Ten, Insensitive, and many others.
