Born in Annedal, Gothenburg, Sweden.
Full name - Bjorn Leonard Stein.
During his studies he studied communications and media, after which he entered the Stockholm Film School. He made his film debut as a director of the TV series "Spung 2.0" (2003) .
The first full-length picture - "Storm" (2005) .
Other projects by the director include the films Shelter (2010) and Underworld: Awakening (2011) .
He often collaborates with director and screenwriter Mance Marlind.
