She was born on September 21, 1952 in Kuibyshev. In 1975 she graduated from the acting faculty of the Kuibyshev Musical College, in 1983 - from the directing faculty of KGIK. She worked at the Kuibyshev Drama Theater named after I. Gorky (1971-75), Orenburg Drama Theater (1975-77), Syzran Drama Theater (1977-78), Kuibyshev House of Actor (1978-84). In 1984 she starred in the film "Parachutists" (the role of Olga Filatova), in 1986 - in the role of Lena in the film "55 degrees below zero". In 1987 she married director Yuri Ivanchuk. He currently lives with two daughters in the Czech Republic.
