Leonid Lyubashevsky - biography, date of birth, place of birth, filmography, clips, Actor, Writer.
Born December 26, 1892 Soviet actor, playwright and screenwriter.
In 1915 he graduated from the drama courses of Y. Zagarov in Petrograd, in 1919 he was accepted into the troupe of the Arkhangelsk Theater as an actor. In 1923-1924 he was an actor at the Krivoye Mirror Theater and the Young Theater, since 1925 - at the Leningrad Youth Theater. Since 1936 he has been playing on the stage of the New Theater for Young Spectators until its closing. In 1945 he moved to the Leningrad Drama Theater named after I. V. Komissarzhevskaya.
In the 1930s-1950s, he showed himself in cinema. Known for performing the role of Ya.M. Sverdlov in historical and revolutionary films.
Since the 1920s, he has been writing plays mainly for youth theater under the pseudonyms D. Del and Daniil Del. Author of 11 plays ("The Musician Team", 1935; "The Third Mile", 1937; "At Lukomorye", 1939; "Bolshevik", 1940, etc.). He died on March 1, 1975. He was buried in St. Petersburg at the Northern Cemetery.
