Born on January 12, 1941. In 1965 he graduated from the Leningrad State Institute of Music and Cinematography (course of Professor B.V. Zona). From 1980 to 2001 he worked at the Lenfilm film studio as a production organizer, director of motion pictures.
Since 2009 he has been an actor at the Liteiny Theater (St. Petersburg).
