In 1923 she graduated from the acting school at the Petrograd Theater "Free Comedy".
Until 1928 she was a theater actress.
From 1929 she worked at the Lenfilm film studio.
She worked as an assistant director on the films "Return of Maxim" (1937), "Youth of Maxim" (1934), "Vyborg Side" (1938) .
Honored Artist of the RSFSR (1966) .
She passed away on February 22, 1990 in Moscow. She was buried in the cemetery in the village of Komarovo near Leningrad.
