She was born on November 2, 1929 in Saratov.
She graduated from the Saratov Theater School and made her debut on the stage of the Saratov Youth Theater. In 1956 she graduated from the Moscow Art Theater School (course of P. Massalsky) and was accepted into the troupe of the theater.
She made her debut in the role of Unknown ("Nameless Star").
