He studied at the directing department of the Tashkent Institute of Theater Arts named after A.N. Ostrovsky (1963-1964), graduated from the directing department of the Georgian State Institute of Theater Arts named after Sh. Rustaveli in Tbilisi (1966).
In 1961-1963 - assistant operator at the Tashkent television studio.
In 1967-1968 - director of the editorial board of variety and concert programs, since 1968 - director of the Main editorial board of musical programs of the Central Television. Master of television entertainment, creator of "Benefits", film musicals, variety shows and "New Year's attractions", multiple prize winner ("Silver Rose") of the international television festival in Montreux. President of the national festival of television entertainment films (1992).
