She was born in Wilbraham (USA) on November 12, 1978. She received her acting education at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York.
Kelly began her professional artistic career on the stage. In 2000, she performed her first major television role - in the series All My Children. Kelly Overton made her film debut three years later in the movie It Runs in the Family (2003) .
In 2008, Kelly Overton acted as a director, screenwriter and film producer - her first experience in these professions was the film "The Collective".
