Born on November 3, 1965 in Tbilisi, Georgian SSR, USSR.
Graduated from the acting department of GITIK named after S. Rustaveli (workshop of Gizo Jordania). He first appeared on stage in 1980, at the age of 15 in the play "Richard III" directed by R. Sturua played Prince Edward.
In 1986-1991 - an actor of the Tbilisi Drama Theater. S. Rustaveli. Merab Ninidze was the leading actor of the theater.
Since 1992 he has been living in England, since 1995 he has been living and working in Vienna (Austria). Actively appears in German, Austrian and Russian cinema.
In 2003 he played Shylock in the "Merchant of Venice" of the Tbilisi Theater "Theater Basement".
