Born on August 22, 1934. In 1959 he graduated from the Leningrad State Institute of Theater, Music and Cinema (course of L.F. Makariev). Was accepted into the troupe of the Maly Drama Theater of Leningrad. Then he played in theaters in Kazan, Tallinn, Kalinin, Ryazan, Magnitogorsk, Novgorod. From 1987 to 2010 - actor at the Theater "On Liteiny" (St. Petersburg).
