Student of Ruben Simonov, actress of the Ruben Simonov Studio Theater (1926-1937) and the USSR Maly Theater (1937-1964). She graduated from a labor school in Rylsk (former Shelekhov gymnasium). She began her acting career on the stage of the Summer Theater in the Rylsky City Garden. One of the best theatrical works of Tarasova - Sophia in the Maly Theater play "Woe from Wit" (1938).
