She began her journey to the big cinema as an assistant director at the Kirgizfilm film studio (1960-1962), starred in the films: "The Girl from the Tien Shan", "Everyone Has Their Own Way". She worked in the group of Larisa Shepitko on the film "Heat".
She graduated from the directing department of VGIK (1968, workshop of MI Romm and A.B. Stolper), defended her diploma in 1970. Thesis - "Rudolfio" (based on the story of VG Rasputin).
Since 1973 - director of the Lenfilm film studio .
Dinara Asanova died at the 43rd year of her life during the filming of the film "Stranger". She had a weak heart. Buried in Bishkek.
