Born October 22, 1960 - Russian animator, director, screenwriter and cameraman. Creator of the animated series "Masha and the Bear" .
Studied at the Moscow Institute of Steel and Alloys, then at the Geological Prospecting Institute, from which he graduated in 1987. Since 1988 he began to draw cartoons. He worked in the Pilot studio. In 1998 he moved to Los Angeles and worked at Kinofilm, then at the Animaccord studio, where the animated series Masha and the Bear appeared. According to Kuzovkov, "Masha and the Bear" was inspired by the animated series "Tom and Jerry" .
In 1995, he was the director and artist of the American animated film People: Music Festival, and also worked on 14 other animated films as a cameraman.
