Born June 24, 1959. Graduated from Dartmouth College. Among his most notable films are Outland and Money for Two, as well as the recent hit Live Steel, starring Hugh Jackman. Gilroy served as executive producer on the set of Money for Two .
Gilroy grew up in an artistic and creative family. His father is Pulitzer Prize and Tony Prize-winning Frank D. Gilroy (It's All Because of the Roses), brother John Gilroy is editor (Miracle, Michael Clayton, Salt, Warrior). The Bourne Evolution is his first film collaboration with his brother, director and screenwriter Tony Gilroy.
Gilroy was born in California and lives in Santa Monica with his wife, actress Rene Russo and their daughter.
