Halina Rein is a Dutch actress and writer.
She studied professionally at the Maastricht Academy of Dramatic Art. While still a student, she was asked to join the ensemble at the Theatercompagnie, where she starred in performances such as Hamlet (as Ophelia) and Trading and Fucking (as Lulu), for which she received the prestigious Dutch theater award, Colombina, for Best Actress Second Plan ”in 1998. In 2003 she joined the Toneelgroep Ensemble in Amsterdam.
