Born on January 28, 1939 in Yerevan.
Graduated from the Acting Department of the Yerevan Theater and Art Institute (1962). Film actress since 1968. Honored Artist of the Armenian SSR (1979) .
Laura Gevorkyan is the widow of the famous Soviet director Edmond Keosayan, the mother of the Russian film director, clip maker and TV presenter Tigran Keosayan.
