Frances De La Tour (born July 30, 1944) - British actress is most likely best known for her role as Miss Ruth Jones from the British comedy "Rising Damp", as well as for the role of Madame Olympia Maxim from the film adaptation of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire ".
Frances was born in Bovington, Hertforshire. Her mother is Moira Fassas and her father is Charles de la Tour. She was educated in London, where she graduated from the London Drama Center (now London University of the Arts).
Francis has a brother - Andy de la Tour. She was married to playwright Tom Kempinski, he had two children from their marriage - a son and a daughter.
