Born February 23, 1923. Graduated from the Shota Rustaveli Tbilisi Institute of Theater Arts (1944, TGITI). Played on the stage of the Rustaveli Theater since 1944.
People's Artist of the Georgian SSR (1955) .
Passed away on March 11, 2003. Buried in Tbilisi at the cemetery of the Didube Pantheon of the Great People of Georgia.
