A Montreal native, Aldo Nova (Aldo Caporucho) began to master the guitar when he was 15 years old. With a genuine interest in jazz and deeply impressed by Jimi Hendrix, Aldo persevered in his skills (both guitar and keyboard) and eventually became a club hero in his city. When Nova's popularity reached a certain limit, the musician signed a contract with "Portrait records". By this time, Aldo already had experience working as a sound engineer, so he undertook to produce his debut album himself.
