Jaromir Shofr - biography, date of birth, place of birth, filmography, clips.
Born September 20, 1939 in Brno in the family of the writer Radek Shofr. Graduated in 1961 from the Faculty of Film and Television of the Prague Academy of Musical Arts (FAMU) .
He is best known for his work in films of his colleagues, Czech directors of the "new wave" Jiri Menzel and Vera Khitilova. One of the founders of the Association of Czech Filmmakers. Lecturer at the Faculty of Film and Television at the Prague Academy of Music (1985), professor (1990). Visiting Professor at Columbia College Chicago and Charles University.
