Born on March 11, 1926 in the village of Polom, Kirov region. Graduated from the drama department of the opera and drama studio named after K.S. Stanislavsky (1947) in Moscow. Since 1947 - actor of the K.S. Stanislavsky. Since 1960 - actor of the A.S. Pushkin and, according to the agreement, the Satire Theater. Since 1963 he has been an artist of the Film Actor's Studio Theater.
People's Artist of the RSFSR (1980) .
He passed away on November 28, 1995 in Moscow. The actor was buried at the Donskoy cemetery in Moscow.
