Was born in 1965 in Belarus. After serving in the army (1986) he worked as a photographer in Vitebsk. In 1992, he entered the camera department of the Belarusian Academy of Arts (formerly the Theater and Art Institute), workshop of Igor Konstantinovich Remishevsky. Graduated from the Academy in 1997. Diploma film "Two stories of one hussar" (2 hours b / w directed by Ivan Pavlov) and "Yavdokha" (2 hours colored directed by Anton Voynich). He worked as an operator at the Belarusfilm cinema, in the creative production association Belvideocentre, director of photography doc. films. Since 1999 he has been living in Moscow.
