Since 1943 - artist of the Moscow Comedy Theater, the theaters of Ulyanovsk, Vladimir, Irkutsk, the Baltic Fleet Theater, the Moscow Central Transport Theater, the Moscow Drama and Comedy Theater.
Since 1962 - an actor at the Film Actor's Studio Theater in Moscow.
He died of lung cancer at the age of 61. The actor was buried at the Kuntsevo cemetery in Moscow.
