In 1974 she graduated from the Philological Faculty of the Ural State University. She worked as a teacher in a rural school, a mosaic artist in city art workshops in Surgut, a timekeeper for the SMU in Moscow.
In 1984 she graduated from the screenwriting department of the VKSR (workshop of Semyon Lungin, Lyudmila Golubkina).
Scriptwriter for a number of feature films. In animation she worked with O.L. Cherkasova, A.N. Zolotukhin and V.A. Olschwang.
She was buried in Moscow at the Troekurovsky cemetery, plot number 10.
