Was born on March 25, 1964 in Leningrad.
In 1990 he graduated from the St. Petersburg State Academy of Theater Arts (formerly LGITMIK), theatrical faculty.
Yuri Sapronov began his career in 1987 at the Lenfilm film studio, working in various positions, from senior film administrator to deputy director of VHPO.
In 1990, he was appointed deputy director of the St. Petersburg creative-production association, and in 1991 he took the same position at the Petrograd-Film studio.
In 1993, Yuri Sapronov became vice president of East Ievro Entertainment.
Since 1996, Yu. A. Sapronov has been the general director of the Videoart-Profi television company, in 1998 - the general director of Interactive Television LLC.
