Born March 18, 1909, into a family of an employee.
He received no special education. He began his stage career in the theater of drama and comedy (Barnaul-Biysk) in 1929. From 1930 - in the Siberian Experimental Theater (Krasnoyarsk), from 1931 - an actor of the Sverdlovsk Academic Drama Theater. Honored Artist of the RSFSR (1952) .
He passed away on January 18, 1983, was buried at the Shirokorechenskoye cemetery in Sverdlovsk.
