Honored People's Artist of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mirza Babayev came to this world on July 16, 1913 in the city of Baku, Azerbaijan. The artist's full name sounds somewhat different - Babaev Mirza Abduljabbar oglu. From an early age, as a little boy, Mirza was drawn to the world of art, so his parents enrolled him in the group of the Art School. When his secondary school education ended, Mirza, under the influence of his father, an oil agent, entered the petrochemical department of the State Industrial Institute in Azerbaijan, which he safely graduated in 1939, but he did not work a day in his specialty. While studying at the institute, Babaev discovers excellent vocal abilities and, in order to improve his talent, applied to the conservatory for the Bulbul course.
The first movie with Mirza Babayev was released on the big screen in 1943 under the title One Family, directed by Grigory Alexandrov. Then there was a break in filming for 13 years, in 1956 the film Not That Not This, directed by Huseyn Seidzade, was presented. Mirza played mostly bad guys, and because of his difficult nature, he managed to perfectly get used to the role.
