Born on November 20, 1936 in the village of Babstovo, Leninsky District, Khabarovsk Territory, RSFSR, USSR. In 1960 he graduated from the Moscow Theater School named after M.S. Shchepkina. After graduating from college, he worked at the Lenin Komsomol Theater, the Pushkin Theater. Since 1964 - an actor of the Yermolova Theater. Worked with directors Vladimir Andreev, Faina Verigina, Valery Fokin, Andrey Zhitinkin, Alexei Levinsky, Galina Dubovskaya.
Honored Artist of Russia (1994) .
He passed away on June 4, 1998 in Moscow.
