Nathan Lerner - biography, date of birth, place of birth, filmography, clips.
Director, art director of animated films, reader, poet. December 30, 1932, Baku - October 20, 1993.
Studied at the Moscow Regional Art School "In Memory of 1905" (1949-1953), the Moscow State Art Institute named after Surikov (1953-1955), VGIK (1955-1959). He worked for the Soyuzmultfilm studio (1960-1973 and 1987-1992), the Multtelefilm studio, TO "Ekran" (1973-1987, later collaborated with this studio occasionally). He worked at the Tajikfilm studio (1972). He worked as a production designer with directors M.M. and V.V. Tsekhanovsky, I.S. Aksenchuk, V.I. Polkovnikov, E.A. Hamburg. Artists I. Mednik, Yu. Isaikin, V. Zuikov and others took part in Lerner's directorial productions. He worked as an artist on drawn films, as a director staged both drawn and puppet paintings. He wrote poetry and comic parodies. He was a multiple winner of the V.V. Mayakovsky.
The urn with the ashes was buried in Moscow, in the Columbarium of the Rogozhsky cemetery.
