Elena Gremina lives in Moscow. Early on she became interested in literary creativity. She clearly defined her path in literature, choosing for herself the difficult path of drama. She graduated from the relevant department of the Literary Institute and became a professional playwright. One of her first plays, The Myth of Svetlana, was staged by the Leningrad Youth Theater in 1983. The play "The Wheel of Fortune" was not only staged almost simultaneously in two Moscow theater-studios, but was performed on the radio of Cologne in Germany. The play "The Case of the O-va Cornet" published in the "Theater" magazine was successfully performed on the stages of the Theater. Pushkin (Moscow), St. Komissarzhevskaya and Omsk theaters. Her play “Behind the Mirror” became a real hit of the season. The staging of this play on the stage of the Moscow Art Theater caused a lot of discussion. Chekhov, where the main role of Catherine II was played by the famous singer Galina Vishnevskaya.
