Born April 22, 1937 in Moscow. In 1967 he graduated from the Moscow Art Theater School and was admitted to the troupe of the Moscow Lenin Komsomol Theater (now - "Lenkom"). Over the years, many roles have been played in the theater.
Honored Artist of the RSFSR (1986).
