In 1959-1962 he was a make-up artist at the Moscow Operetta Theater, in 1962-1968 he was a laboratory assistant at the Research Institute of Anthropology at Moscow State University. In 1970-1976 - director of the "Screen", the author of a number of documentary films. Wife - actress Inga Budkevich.
