Popular Russian actor Kirill Leonovich Safonov was born in the summer of 1973 in a small village in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. The family of the future actor, consisting of parents and two older sisters, moved to Lviv when Kirill was very young, so he spent his childhood in an old Ukrainian city. After the divorce, Kirill's mother returns to the Krasnoyarsk Territory with her children, and Kirill enters the local university at the Faculty of Theater Arts. After studying there for only a year, the young man is transferred to the Moscow GITIS, which he was not destined to finish. The complex character of the actor constantly served as a reason for conflicts both with classmates and with teachers, but the failure of the final rehearsal of the thesis was the last straw - the young man's artistic director Andrei Goncharov nevertheless expelled the wayward student.
However, Kirill Safonov did not worry about the expulsion and lack of a diploma, but immediately got a job at the V. Mayakovsky Moscow Theater, and later at the Stanislavsky Drama Theater, where he played under the strict guidance of Vladimir Mirzoev. Later, Kirill received an invitation to an Israeli theater, learned Hebrew in two months and played on the stage of Tel Aviv for three years.
