Born August 14, 1983 in Uttar Pradesh. The Indian singer is best known for her songs for Indian films in Bollywood. She has also recorded songs for Punjabi, Marathi, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Bhojpuri, Bengali, Assamese and Gujarati films. Chauhan started singing at the age of four and was spotted by a local TV presenter and gained recognition through the television singing competition, Meri Awaz Suno, which she won. After her introduction, she was made into the soundtrack from the Indian film Shastra.
