Born June 27, 1946. Was born in Moscow. Graduated from the acting department of the All-Union State Institute of Cinematography (1969, workshop of B. Bibikov and O. Pyzhova), in 1979 - the directing department (workshop of G. Danelia). Since 1969 - an actor of the Film Actor's Studio Theater. Director of the children's magazine "Yeralash".
