Born April 8, 1955 - Argentine theater, film and television actor.
At the age of five months he was abandoned by his mother and was brought up by relatives together with his sisters, and at the age of 13 he ran away from home and began to live on the street.
The desire to survive and earn a living has helped Raleigh discover his artistic talent.
In 1976, Serrano entered the military service in Cordoba, and in 1981, after serving for several years, he moved to Buenos Aires, where he studied drama with Rubens Correa at the theater school "La Barraca" and worked as a chauffeur, and then he was admitted to the Teatro Abierto theater.
Some time later, together with Rubens Correa, Tito Cossa and Diego Peretti, Serrano became the founder of the Teatro del Pueblo.
The actor's first appearances on the movie screen date back to the mid-1980s, and after playing the title role in the 1995 short film "The Dead King" (Rey muerto) he was often invited to film and television.
Roli Serrano has about a hundred screen works, the most notable of which were the series Disputas, Jesus, el heredero, Los Roldan, Gypsy Blood (Soy gitano), “Noble Fraudsters” (Los simuladores), “Tango Lovers” (Franco Buenaventura, el profe) and the films “Youth”, “Pole” (El Polaquito), “World of the crane operator” (Mundo grua).
The actor's stage work has received two awards from the Association of Latin American Critics (Premio ACE), the Premio Florencio Sanchez Prize and nominations for the Premio Maria Guerrero Prize and the Guevara Trinidad Trinidad Prize (Premio Truead).
Twice - in 2000 and in 2004 - Serrano was nominated for the Argentine Film Critics Association's Silver Condor Award for Best Actor, and in 2003 for his role in Confused he was nominated for the Martin Fierro Award for Best Actor second plan.
