From an interview with Fakhraddin Manafov:
"I was born in Khankendi, left when I was 5-6 years old. I would like to visit Shusha, Jydyr, try honey, berries, swim in the river. Our house was 7-8 km from Khankendi, on the banks of the Gar River -gar. I was born in this very house, on August 2, 1955, on the Day of Azerbaijan National Cinema. "
