September 7, 1919 - February 27, 1992 - Soviet theater and film actor.
He began his stage career in 1936 at the Pskov Pedagogical Theater, then worked at the Leningrad Regional Theater.
After graduating from the Leningrad Technical School in 1938, he worked at the Leningrad Youth Theater, since 1939 at the Theater of the Black Sea Fleet (in 1941-1945 he worked at the front with the theater, performed in front-line units in the defense of Sevastopol, was awarded the medal "For Service in Battle").
In 1946-1982 he worked at the Central Children's Theater. His first significant role was Pavka Korchagin in the 1947 play How the Steel Was Tempered.
In 1985 he was awarded the Order of the Patriotic War, II degree.
