He worked at the Proletkult Theater, at the LOSPS Theater, at the TRAM, at the Realistic Theater. In 1940-1942 he was an actor in the Studio Theater under the direction of N.E. Radlov.
Since 1946 - in the troupe of the BDT.
Honored Artist of the RSFSR.
He passed away on March 21, 1970. He was buried at the cemetery "In memory of the victims of January 9" in St. Petersburg.
