A wonderful actor Oleg Strizhenov was born in the small Siberian town of Blagoveshchensk, Amur Region. His father was a career soldier, and his mother was a teacher. In 1935, the Strizhenov family moved to Moscow. Strizhenov's brother, Gleb, dreamed of becoming an actor and really wanted Oleg to try himself in this field as well.

This film not only brought resounding success and nationwide popularity, but also personal happiness to Strizhenov. On the set, Oleg met his first wife.
