In February 1926, a replenishment appeared in the family of the famous actor Vsevolod Alekseevich Verbitsky, he had a son, Anatoly Verbitsky.
The family lived in Moscow, Anatoly's dad worked at the Moscow Art Theater. The son followed in his footsteps and in the 9th grade in the first war years he also began to work there. The career of the future actor began with the carpentry workshops of the theater, and then he began to take part in crowd scenes.

Anatoly's father was not only an eminent Moscow Art Theater actor, but also the USSR tennis champion, his mother was the sister of the USSR People's Artist P. Massalsky, so he had no choice, but only one way to the theater. According to relatives, Anatoly was distinguished by a pleasant appearance. The sweetness of his voice mesmerized the audience. The first film with Anatoly Verbitsky is Princess Mary. The role of Pechorin brought him the love of fans and fame.
The actor started acting quite early - at the age of 29. After Princess Mary, it would seem, life takes off, they begin to invite him to appear. Subsequent films with the participation of Anatoly Verbitsky: Flowers belated, Freeloader and Blockade (1974).
So why did such a promising actor's career end so early? A new director has come to his favorite theater - Oleg Efremov with his team.
