The legendary German rock band Scorpions is one of the brightest representatives of its genre, and it is difficult to overestimate its influence not only on European, but also on global rock culture. Having gone through a significant genre evolution from the traditional hard rock of the 70s to the soft metal of the 80s, the Scorpions have found admirers among a wide variety of listeners: some love their melodic ballads, some, on the contrary, like hard action films.
One way or another, but from the moment of its foundation until the last concert of the group, full halls gathered to listen and watch the Scorpions, their inimitable performance, profound lyrics and magical rhythm, along with the unsurpassed vocals of Klaus Meine, became the trademark that favorably distinguished the rock group among other performers, paving the red carpet for them to the top of the musical Olympus.
The birthplace of the group is the city of Gonnover - it was there, back in 1965, that Rudolf Schenker first announced the existence of a rock band with the unusual name Scorpions (by the way, in honor of the Attack of the Scorpions cinematic tape). A little later, Rudolf's brother, Michael Schenker, will join the participants, who will bring Klaus Meine with him.
The first album of the group will see the world only in 1972, but its success will be incomparable - the doors of not only domestic, but also European show business will open wide for talented debutants. The first victories will turn into the first defeats: having received recognition, many members of the collective will move to other, more famous musical teams, leaving only the name and one album from the Scorpions themselves.
For a long time the main line-up of the group will be unstable, and only by 1979 the state of the Scorpions will begin to more or less stabilize. Next year, the seventh album Animal Magnetism will be released, which brought the collective almost worldwide fame! This turning point gave the Scorpions some of the best scenes on the planet, and the audience the opportunity to enjoy amazing, goosebumping compositions.
The fruitful work of the group continued until 2010, that is, exactly until the time when the Scorpions announced that they were going on their last world tour. Today they have about 20 full-length studio albums, but you can watch the Scorpions online and in some film productions, where they mostly play themselves.
